101 Photography Training Days
These Saturday workshops are proving really popular and I’m loving the consistently positive feedback!
I’ve labelled them 101 training days because I really do start with how to focus but I haven’t had anyone go away not having learnt far more than they expected. The days are for a maximum of 4 people deliberately so you get real hands on support from me. The morning is where we sit in my studio and get the theory and then we head out in the afternoon to see if what you’ve learnt has sunk in. If not I’m there to support you and help you along.
As you heard in the promo video above and will see from the programme we cover the basics of your camera and explain exposure so you learn why you need to do what you do. I’m not a fan of auto settings and will be encouraging you though the day and demonstrating how to shoot in Manual mode or AV mode from now on!
This training is designed for SLR cameras but I’ve had attendees with Bridge cameras that could do the majority of what we taught so if you have a Bridge camera and it has manual settings you are more than welcome to join us.
Do I need experience?
Not necessarily, what’s more important is a desire to learn photography. My intention is to push you and throw a lot of information at you in the morning which will enable you to shoot manually in any situation knowing exactly how to set up your camera and why. So yes, you can come with no experience but please know that this is not teaching you how to point and shoot on full auto, I will be teaching you the correct way to use your camera and I haven’t had any complaints yet!
Dates for 2016*
* I need a minimum of 3 people to put a training day on so if you are interested please contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org . If the dates aren’t filled the course will be cancelled and you’ll be given other options.
Programme of Day
9:15 Welcome… with a bacon roll 🙂
9:40 – 1.00 Classroom based teaching (see the video above)
1:30 – 15:00 Practical sessions
15:00 – 15:30 Review and Q & A
How much does it cost
The training is £75 for the day. I could make it cheaper by having a larger group but I honestly believe this is far better value for you.
Pay me on the day either cash or cheque (made payable to Adrian Salisbury).
If you’d like to give someone a gift of a training day please get in touch with me and I can give you a gift voucher to print and bring on the day. The cost is still £75 and can be redeemed at any time throughout 2016.
Please contact me at email@example.com and I’ll be glad to help you.
